The Bolero Rhumba is a variation of the Rhumba (one of many Afro-Cuban dances in four beats) Its tempo is slow and has some rhythmic variations in the percussion. Its original instrumentacion includes: clave, maracas, cowbell, güiro, bongo, conga, timbal and drum set.
This piece mixes the syncopation and style of the Bolero Rhumba with challenging ear catching chromatic scales.
