Liliflute Music - Liliflute.com - Emboquillao (Currulao)
Liliflute music is a small publisher of Latin American music, created by flutist and composer Carmen Marulanda. Her projects, 12 Original Colombian Pieces for Flute and Guitar, Traversuras 1&2 for Flute and Piano and the Flute duets 1&2 are an eloquent collection of studies based on Colombian and Venezuelan genres. The ingenuity of these works, in addition to the varied musical content, is the presentation: all the musical accompaniments are pre-recorded, giving the flute student direct access to the original style of each region. Uniting teaching and composition, this works represents one of the newest musical trends, where the dialogue between composer and tradition is partnered with educational values.

Bolero Rhumba - MCYO 2020
Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras at Strathmore Senior Flute Choir. At the Mid Atlantic Flute Convention 2020, performed during the workshop Let's duet, let's trio, let's quartet, and then were so generous as to perform during the open mic spot. Thank you Master Janese Sampson for your wonderful soul and energy towards new music. Blessings to all of you. "I am thinking about when I first met you at the Flute Convention. As a teacher I was struck by the way you used Colombian idioms to give students a more exciting and challenging way to understand scales, arpeggios, chromaticism, exotic rhythms"
